Hello lovelies! I'm going to be reviewing one of the newest releases from the I Heart Revolution chocolate bar range; the Cherry Chocolate Palette! This may possibly be my favourite palette from the entire range with a gorgeous mix of pinks, reds and neutral tones.

The Packaging
The packaging is the same as the other chocolate bars in the range. A plastic chocolate bar casing with melted chocolate drips over the top. In this case, the main bar is a bright mid-toned pink with bright red drips. In my opinion, the packaging is cute but a bit clashy, the combination of pink and red is quite jarring, however it does match the colour scheme of the shadows inside.
Swatches
The colours in the palette are a nice mix of reds, pinks and neutrals. I have swatched the colours without flash and in natural daylight to show you a true representation of the colours in the palette.

As you can see all of the shades perform nicely in a swatch. The mattes in general are pigmented and creamy, although the shade 'Maraschino' seems a bit stiffer and drier than the others, it blended out just fine on the arm. The shimmers in the palette are super creamy and metallic, especially the shade 'Tart.' The shimmer shade 'Pop' seems to be more of a glittery 'topper' shade and less of a metallic foil compared to the other shimmers in the palette.

The mix of colours in the palette are well balanced; there are shades you can use in your transition in warm, mauve and cooler tones ('Bakewell' 'All Gone' and 'Pair') pops of cherry colours ('Sour' 'Kirsch' and 'Maraschino') as well as deeper tones to create a more smokey look ('Ripe' 'Dark Chocolate' and 'Cherry Cola.') I was also very happy to see both a matte and shimmery highlight shade for your brow bone or inner corner ('Spring' and 'Blossom') meaning you don't have to dip into another palette or highlighter to complete your eye look!
I have heard some people say there are not enough cherry shades in the palette but on my skin tone most of the shades pull reddish or pink so I do not have that issue. I also like how there are neutral colours in the palette to balance out the cherries as I think it makes the palette more versatile and less one dimensional.
The Eye Look.

For this eye look I went for the more mauve toned colours in the palette, and as you can see, they pull very reddish/pink on my skin tone.
Firstly, I set my eyelid with the shade 'Spring' and blended 'All Gone' through my transition. Then, I used the shade 'Morello' through the crease to deepen it up a little bit. I used a mix of 'Black Forest' and 'Dark Chocolate' on my Outer V. On the lid, I used 'Kirsch' all over, the added a little bit of 'Wild' towards the outer third. I think added 'Pop' of the very middle of the lid for an extra bit of sparkle. I then added 'Blossom' to the brow bone and inner corner as a shimmery highlight.
I don't wear eyeliner on an everyday basis however I like to deepen up my lash line with eye shadow. I used the shimmer shade 'Ripe' for this and I really liked the effect it gave.
Final Thoughts.
I LOVE this palette.
I've never been one for pink eye shadow but this palette might have just changed my mind. The tones in the palette are pink but very wearable as they have mauve undertones and don't seem too bright on the eye. However, if you have a different skin tone to mine or you are looking for super bright pinks, this palette might not be for you.
Overall, the mattes all blend very easily and the shimmers are metallic and gorgeous, the tones in the palette are wearable all year around. If you like the colours in the palette I would highly reccomend you buy it, especially on the 3 for 2 sale at superdrug hehe!
Thank you for reading!
