The Packaging
The packaging is the same as the other chocolate bars in the range. A plastic chocolate bar casing with melted chocolate drips over the top. In this case, the main bar is chocolatey brown with bright orange drips. This palette is in the old format where 2 of the shades ('It's Mine' and 'In One' are in larger pans than the other shades in the palette. With it being the older style chocolate bar, the shade names are not printed on the palette and instead are on a plastic sheet. I find this a bit awkward as I often lose the plastic sheet or it scratches the eye shadow pans.
Swatches
The colours in the palette are a mix of warm toned oranges, browns and dusky pinks. I have swatched the colours without flash and in natural daylight to show you a true representation of the colours in the palette.

The shades perform quite nicely in a swatch, some of the shades need building up as they come out sheer. In particular the shades 'Clementine' and 'Pip' need to built up to show their true colour. They build nicely in a swatch and look the same as the shade in the pan and sometimes a more build-able shadow is easier to work with on the eye. The mattes in general are stiffer and more powdery than the newer formula in the chocolate bar range, however they perform nicely on the eye. The shimmers are creamy and buttery, especially the shade 'Gift' which may be one of my favourite shades in the palette. The shimmer shade 'Chocolate Orange' is more of a matte eye shadow with shimmer particles running through it rather than a creamy metallic shimmer like 'Gift' and 'Tap it.'

The mix of colours in the palette are very nice, they make me think of Autumn time with cozy hot drinks and crunchy leaves on the ground. I think I will get a lot of use out of this palette through September and October. The shades in the palette are well balanced. There are multiple tones in transition shades; 'Clementine' is a warm toned beige, 'Pip' is a cooler toned brown and 'Ribbon' is an interesting dusky pink. There are some deeper tones for your crease or outer corner ('Smash' 'Peel' 'Dessert and 'Nibble') as well as some nice matte and shimmer pops of colour ('Gift' 'Tap it' 'Lush and 'Orange.')
The two larger pans 'Its Mine' and 'In One' are supposed to be the colours you will use most in the palette as they can be used as highlighter for the face, brow bone or inner corner as well as to set the eye. However, on my skin tone 'In One' is a little bit too deep for a highlight but not deep enough for a transition so I don't see myself using that colour a lot. Instead, I would have preferred a larger pan of a transition shade ('Clementine') or even a deeper shade ('Nibble.')
The Eye Look.

For this eye look I went for a warm toned orangey look with a shimmery lid. Firstly, I set my eyelid with the shade 'Its Mine' it is a satin shade so it did not accentuate any texture on my eye like a regular shimmer and blended smoothly. I then blended 'Clementine' through my transition area and used the shade 'Orange' to add depth in the crease. Next, I added the shade 'Nibble' in my outer V, this shade is a stunning deep terracotta which adds a nice amount of wearable warmth to the look without it being too...orange. On the lid I used the shade 'Gift' all over which is a stunning mid-gold, its not too yellow or too brassy and I think its gorgeous. I then added a little bit of 'Tap It' to the outer third of the lid to add depth. I then added a bit more of 'Its Mine' to my brow bone and inner corner as a pop of highlight. Finally, I added the shade 'Segment' along the lash line to add depth to the lashes.
Final Thoughts.
I like this palette. The colours and tones of this palette are a perfect wearable warmth that isn't too 'in your face' or bright. The shimmers in the palette are gorgeous and some of the mattes perform perfectly. Although, I do believe the older formula of I Heart Revolution matte eye shadows just isn't as good as the newer ones, they perform nicely but take a little bit of building to get the desired effect. Overall, I would recommend this palette of you are looking for an affordable warm-toned palette, the colours in here are similar to the Morphe 35O are I prefer the selection in the chocolate bar. The palette is also perfect for beginners or people who aren't as confident with eye shadow as the pigment needs building up and they blend easily. Thank you for reading!
